Is it Possible to turn off Auto-Detect of Win 10 Cumulative Updates?
Over the last 6 months I've observed some weird little things that occur on my PC when there's a Windows 10 Cumulative update available but I'm not aware of it. I noticed the correlation. Something will be weird and then I'll type "Check for Updates" and lo and behold 90% of the time, there happens to be a Cumulative Update detected and available for download and installation.
So just to be clear, it doesn't download or install without my manually telling it to, but something must be happening behind-the-scenes because like I said, 90% of the time, I know that there is one available just by noticing a little anomaly in my PC's behavior!
Is there a way for me to turn auto-detection of these Cumulative updates off completely and only have the Windows Defender updates do their thing? This would allow me to test and see if doing so solves one issue in particular...
