I upgraded to 21H2. But it's still slow and it still hangs up on everything. I ran tests on the hard disk and it said the hard disk was okay and no problems were found. Still having issues updating. I know it can't be the internet because my internet is 100 Mbps. I am now doing a fresh install of 21H2 to get rid of the bloatware to see if that is causing the slowness and system hangups.

I see, yeah best to do a clean install again, it could be as I said to everyone, a bad defect on the new laptop.

What kind of defect could it be? The hard drive is okay, it said. If this doesn't fix it, then I will just return it.

It could be the processor but I was just putting all the possibilities :)

I believe you are right it isn't that, but yeah.

To do a fresh install, please download the above app in there, it si the official refresh. It will reinstall Windows and delete anything that isnt' preinstlaled

Also, there is no more manufacturer warranty, what I mean by defect is that the processor may be fine but it could be something else wrong with the computer but the refresh should fix it.

Okay. It's trying to speed up a little now. It does have a lot of updates for the processor.

I would recommend checking this out, running the performance tuner, also updating the BIOS.

https://support.hp.com/ph-en/help/wi...nter-computing, also the tune-up checker, also since you did a fresh install, the HP support assistant isn't there, so please download.

    https://support.hp.com/us-en/help/hp-support-assistant

This will be a handy tool if you have any issues with HP devices, it has the performance tuner, it can download important driver and other stuff :)

    Thank you,

Have a wonderful rest of your evening,

    Shawn

And finally.... It is fixed and running a lot better! I did a Clean Install, then I updated all of the device drivers and that cleared everything up. So thankful! Now I won't have to send it back.
