Should I expect another slow Patch Tuesday tomorrow?

For the past two months, it's been taking like a half hour to install the Patch Tuesday updates. Yet, the 21H1 and the printer update took the normal amount of time. So, I don't think that it's anything wrong with my computer. It's their Patch Tuesday updates. Especially since other people have been reporting the same thing as me.

A lot depends on "when" during the day you do the update, and how fast an internet connection you have.
Some times during update day, there is far greater "demand" on Microsoft's servers.
The same with your ISP's servers and all the servers of the "hops" between you and Microsoft.

Your flag says Ohio. Probably the best time of day for you to do your updates would be about 1pm.
By the time 4 or 5 pm roles around, the entire east cost times zone if off work, and going online.

Besides server load, there will be times when the "path" from you to Microsoft will be longer or shorter.
This is determined by which servers are physically working or possibly... down.

This question is unanswerable as we have no idea of what is likely to appear.

Only one way to find out......

I update my computer at 2 or sometimes even 3. Which is between 1 and 4. So, what time do you think I should wait? I also completed the other updates at like 9-10 at night and the other one at 2 at night. So, you think that time is really a factor?

It's somewhat of a factor. But so are other things like the physical health of all the hops between you and MS. What's IN the updates. How many parts are in the updates... etc.

Like mentioned above... just wait and see. ^^

So, it's most likely nothing wrong with my computer?

I doubt it. If there was, you'd notice it in other areas.

And I really shouldn't be worried about tomorrow's update then? Probably the worst case scenario is that it takes a long time again?

With a fresh backup.... ya never have to worry about anything.

But it's just a monthly backup. We already got most of it on the 29th of July.
