    Got old KB4023057 this morning


    When I checked WU this morning, KB4023057 was available. Installation took only a few seconds with no restart necessary. When I checked to see what that update was, I discovered it was for Windows 10 1607 back in 2017. Why would I be getting it now? I'm running 19043.1151.

    KB4023057 gets re-issued almost every year. They re-use the same KB number but the update is updated for new Versions.

    KB4023057 - Update for Windows 10 Update Service components - TenForumsNews
    For Windows 10 versions 1507, 1511, 1607, 1703, 1709, 1803, 1809, 1903, 1909, 2004, 20H2, 21H1

    Do you mean KB4023057 for version 1607 has been installed in your version 21H1?

    Hello @larc919,

    If you wanted to, you could of course Uninstall the WU if you find that it is NOT really needed for your Build using one of the methods here . . .
