    Constant update Microsoft - Printer - 6/22/2006 12:00:00 AM - 6.1.723

I'm on Windows 10 home, version 2004, OS build 19041.1110. For some time now, every time I update windows I find that there is an update for "Microsoft - Printer - 6/22/2006 12:00:00 AM - 6.1.7233.1" pending install. I've installed this numerous times but the next time I check for updates, there it is again. Obviously Windows thinks it is not installed. What is "Microsoft - Printer - 6/22/2006 12:00:00 AM - 6.1.7233.1" and why does it keep being presented as a recurring update? How do I stop this behavior? Thank you.

The date is a generic date Microsoft assigns to many drivers.

It appears to be caused by Malwarebytes.

Thanks for taking the time to answer. I don't think that Malwarebytes is my problem. I run it every month or two, but it is not otherwise running in the background. Other ideas?

    Thanks for the rep.

The thread I linked and another thread that is linked both turned out to be some old Malwarebytes caused.

Even though you are not running Malwarebytes there are probably modules that are loaded and maybe even active.

Do a web search for ms printer update v6.1.7233.1 lots of hits for this.
