    One of the update services is not running properly


    Hi there,

    Windows cannot be updated, I get the following message: "One of the update services is not running properly, but you can try to run a troubleshooter to fix the problem. Go to Start button > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot, and then select Windows Update". I've tried several methods given in internet, but without success.
    Please help me to solve the issue.

    Hi, when did this start?
    When it did, what happened around that time?
    Have you tried using a System Restore point if this happened recently?

    Have you ever used any methods to disbale Window Update?

    What does the troubleshooter report?


    What is your build number?
    One of the update services is not running properly-win-10-version.png

    Try
    Reset Windows Update in Windows 10

    and if no luck try using Tweaking.com's free repair tool, selecting only repairs related to Windows Update.
    Advise the result.
