How to extend MS updates delay to beyond 35 days.

I didn't need to edit the registry for delayed updates, every time I open the 'Pause updates' section and click the dropdown, I can scroll way down to 2 years at a time, as an example, at the time of posting this reply, I can select the date as Tues, Nov, 13, 2029, which I just selected, and then returned to the update window, then selected 'Advanced Options' and now when I look at the dropdown, I can extend the pause time even more to Tues, April 13, 2038, without touching the registry, perhaps it's a glitch in the updates, but I may have found something lol.

Are you really still using unsupported ancient 1909 as listed under your user name? Maybe that's why you can still do this unlimited extension??

Yep, still using 1909, mainly because it has software that's hidden, but anyway, I have another thread about this on this forum:-

what edition of 1909, MrTrippy?

only 1909 editions left supported beyond May 2021 are the enterprise & education editions
next months crop of 1909 updates (June 2021) will only install on 1909 enterprise & education

uh 1909 is not that ancient, steve108
it came out about 18 months ago and is not completely unsupported
only the Home & Pro editions of 1909 recently went EOL this May 2021 but the "higher" editions like Enterprise get another year of support

Everything must seem shiny and new compared to Windows 7 . I wonder how many people here run Enterprise versions of 1909 at home?
