Cannot install KB5001330, I have tried everything. Logs included.

    Hello everyone,

    I get this error here:
"Some update files are missing or have problems. We'll try to download the update again later. Error code: (0x8007000d)"

    I am using Windows 10 64 Bit Education 2004 Build 19041.685

I have extensively googled solutions and tried them all to no avail. I did a SFCFix.txt scan (included in post) and it found no corruption. I have included my cbs log as well for review. Any help would be great.

Hello @CheeseBurrito and Welcome on TF,

the uploaded CBS.log cannot be used for error analysis because it does not contain the error.

So I would ask you to copy the complete CBS folder on the desktop, zip it and then upload it to wetransfer.com.

Instructions for wetransfer website you can find there: Repair install for win 10 failing Solved - Page 3 - Windows 10 Forums (tenforums.com)

    Thanks for the log files.

Did you also uninstall "Windows Mixed Reality" and then try the update?

Oh wow I just uninstalled it Mixed Reality and now the update worked! Thanks man. I'm surprised to see MS's own software product is the cause of this though.

If you don't need mixed reality, don't reinstall it.

Otherwise, you can reinstall it if necessary.

The error should not occur again with the next update.

You can mark the thread as solved.

    Take care and stay safe.

I have the exact same issue trying to install the following

    2021-08 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 20H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5005033)

I've tried literally every fix online except for a repair install. I also have a Windows Mixed Reality headset and uninstalling that didn't help. I've attached a log file that was created after I uninstalled the Mixed Reality app and tried the update, which still failed. I noticed I still have the same Mixed Reality entry that the original poster has.
