Did Windows have a gltich today?

It downloaded and automatically installed two updates that I already had. Then when I shut down my computer and turned it back on, the updates disappeared. I just clicked on shut down not install and shut down. Any idea of what happened? It decided to download the updates a couple of hours after the computer initially checked for them. They weren't there earlier but then appeared hours later.

I know that the first one was the update from January and the second one was the Net Framework update from February. The January one ended with 57.

Yeah. That is the one. But it doesn't explain why I got it again for though. Then have it disappeared.
