The errors are always in the log and are of no interest.
Can you open the open the PowerShell as administrator and run the following command:
Get-WindowsUpdateLogthat creates the WindowUpdate.log on your Desktop.
Please upload the log on wetransfer.com and share the link here.I would check it out later.Friendly greetings Sorry for any mistakes. English is not my native language.
first off, I don't think you need to apologize for anything. I'm sure everyone on these forums appreciate the assistance that volunteers like yourself provide.
For that, I thank every single member who has provided me with their assistance.

I did upload a copy of the log to - WeTransfer

    Thanks again

    Thanks @nkaufman

The Windows Update Log says that there is no ipv6 connection.
They wrote that they disabled ipv6.
    However, this is absolutely necessary.
Would it be possible that you reset the network adapter on your computer again.
And then check the ipv6 Status.

When you've done that, I'll need new Windows Update logs.

Edit: Post corrected due to overlooked information.

Windows Update works when I go to Settings -> Network -> Proxy and
disable Automatic Detect Settings under Automatic Proxy Setup.

    Any ideas?

    @nkaufman

    Thanks for the information:

I only know 2 possibilities that could play a role:

You are logged in with an account from your work on the subject of home work or you have malware or a virus on the computer that sets a proxy.

Yes, it seems a proxy issue.

    2 questions:
    (1) Do most people have the setting enabled for Automatic Detect Settings under Settings -> Network -> Proxy->Automatic Proxy Setup or is it disabled?

    (2) Does Windows Update really need IPv6 to be turned on? I think (not 100% sure) it is turned off on my machine because of a VPN setting.

to 1 - It is switched on by default.

to 2 - Configure IPv6 for advanced users - Windows Server | Microsoft Docs
