    Basically you want to force your reg keys to go to x64 (default) location (not into WOW6432Node for x32 bit)
    Understood - but I have never (ever) had to force any reg file to go into any specific place in the registry - like ever.

    For 5 straight years - it's been double click file, confirm keys are placed - check them and good to go.

    This is the only time ever - where I have done the above and they appear in a different place.

    No WOW6432 or anything else - the keys appear exactly as specified in the .reg file.
    On 32 bit Windows there is no WOW6432 key.

    Does you other PC run x32 bit OS? (unrelated to X64 CPU)

    Nope - same as this machine I am typing on:

    Attachment 323209

    I am very confused as to what is going on here...

    How exactly do you apply reg file to registry?

    Double click the file from the desktop or Download or any folder.

    Have done it a million times without issue - until now?

    Can you share your reg file (or just the relevant part), let me test it in virtual machine to see where it goes.

    Sure - here you go...

    "NoAutoUpdate"=dword:00000000
    "AUOptions"=dword:00000004
    "ScheduledInstallDay"=dword:00000001
    "ScheduledInstallTime"=dword:00000006

    "RescheduleWaitTimeEnabled"=dword:00000001
    "RescheduleWaitTime"=dword:0000001e
    "UseWUServer"=dword:00000001
    "IncludeRecommendedUpdates"=dword:00000001
    "RebootRelaunchTimeoutEnabled"=dword:00000000

    On Windows 10 Enterprise 20H2 (x64) the keys were created in location as specified in reg file. (not in Wow6432Node key)

    Something is wrong with your system elsewhere.
    Running DISM followed by SFC may reveal some issues:

    Good to know we are not seeing things :)

    And I have run SFC and every possible DISM command I could find - nothing comes back as out of the ordinary. That's the frustrating part - this install is broken in a big way - yet none of those tools seem to think that it is.

    May be time to wipe this thing and start over - I have spent enough time troubleshooting this now.

    Cheers!

    Sonic.
