I already downloaded and ran SetUpDialog and posted the results in post 19 - unless you are specifically looking for something else.
Please do it again, you have different error this time and previous error was resolved as you said.
SetupDiag used to create at least 5 log files, looks like that changed.

Too all - Thanks, but it looks like I'm at wit's end....

    Hello all...

Am amazed at all the IT talent frequenting this site. I've now followed (as much as I can see), most or all of the advice given here (and on other forums). Sometimes the advice comes so quickly, it's hard to keep up.

Going along with everything I've done so far, I've also made sure that all of my other hard drives (external) were disconnected. Nothing other than my PC monitor and internet cable was plugged into my PC.

But regardless of the myriad of things I've tried based on suggestions/advice, the issue is still there. Regular Windows updates that affect my current version 1909 have no problems at all. However, when updating to any version above 1909, is where I run into the issues. And it centers around the boot scenario. If there was just one reboot involved, then no problems, but since the PC must reboot several times, here is where the issue takes place. In each case I'm told that the installation failed with an issue with the "Safe_OS phase," with an error during the BOOT operation. Or, the issue was in the "First Boot Phase," with an error in the "MIGRATE_DATA" operation.

So it consistently occurs during the boot operation and after it has rebooted once, going into the 2nd phase of the install.

I have checked all of my options:

    1. Removed a 3rd party Anti-Virus/Malware program (completely, even going into the registry to remove all vestigages of that program.

    2. Disconnected all USB devices and Hard Drives (external).

    3. Ran all of the scan operations you recommended.

    4. Went into MSConfig to stop all 3rd party devices from start-up.

    And the list goes on.

Now get this, so then I tried to do a complete clean install. I used my Microsoft USB Flash Drive Memory card, inserted it and rebooted. It looked like it was going to start this install, but then in each instance, stopped, telling me I had an error and it could not install. My C drive is a 500 Gig Solid State device and I've had no issues with it whatsoever.

So I can't even do a clean reinstall - I mean, what gives here? So it looks like I have two options left:

Take it to a computer shop and have them do a reinstall, or purchase a new PC since mine is 6 years old.

I know that some of you surely have gotten tired of making all of these recommendations - but nothing has worked at all. So I appreciate everything you folks have done here.

How come you did not post all of the requested log results in post #27?

    Had you already given up?

When possible post the requested share links.

It's time consuming to troubleshoot log files.

If you prefer clean install I'll post this tutorial and sign off:

    Log Results....Submitted again

I'm sorry about that, I thought I'd uploaded the right file. Let me try that again - I just uploaded it to you.

I keep trying to attach it and I keep getting a message on your end that it's an invalid file?

Please confirm that you got it...

    Ben,

You can see what is posted in your post. As you can see, no file was posted.

You're not trying to attach it to an email by any chance? That's not how this forum works.

    - You have not mentioned what type of file you are trying to attach or what its size is. Do check, in the tutorial, that it is an allowable type & size.
