    Windows 7 updates

Windows 10 home V 20H2 64bit.On the programme and features page in Control panel, clicking on "View installed updates"
I have a total of 45 updates for Windows 7.This computer was previously Windows 7 before upgrading to Windows 10.
Can I now uninstall these,or would there be problems?

When was the upgrade done please. Was it an upgrade to 10 but a previous version - before 20H2 and you now have that via windows 10 updates - eg upgraded at 1903, then to 1909, then to 2004 and now to 20H2, or has it only just been upgraded and therefore straight to 20H2

Assuming the Windows 7 updates were dated before upgrading to Win 10, you don't want to uninstall them.

As to why they are showing up... it may be the Windows.old folder. (if it still exists). Windows 7 remnants are kept in the Windows.old folder.

I had at the back of my mind that it may be the windows old folder
That is why I asked about when it was upgraded etc
IF it has only just been upgraded to 10 - be aware, although it is on he link, provided by my colleague Ghot that if you delete the windows old folder

If you delete the Windows.old, $Windows.~BT, and/or $Windows.~WS folders, you will no longer be able to go back to the previous version of Windows.

Thank you for the replies, yes I did upgrade through all the Windows 10 upgrades to the latest one and have
no intention to revert back to Windows 7.

    Cheers
I have never heard of this before, where when on 10 and having been so for sometime since the original upgrade from 7, that installed updates show those that were for 7

Have you seen this before you asked on your thread, or is it something you have only recently discovered.

The only causes I can think of are that
    1. Somehow, on your computer is sufficient aspects of 7 left somewhere for these updates to have remained in installed updates and they have been there since the upgrade
    2. You are using some third party update agent - such as OutdateFighter
10 Best Free Software Updater Programs (March 2021)
that also acts as a third party windows update searcher.

I think the important questions are
    A. What dates are shown for these apparent windows 7 updates on installed updates
    and
    B. What KB is listed on them - obviously not on all 45 of them - but on - perhaps the last 5 most recent ones.

Check if you do have a windows old folder etc as explained by Ghot and if so delete on disk cleanup

    I must appologise,having a second look,they are NOT Windows 7 updates
they are updates for various Microsoft office programmes for Microsoft office 2007.

    Microsoft office 2007.

Easy mistake to make if you are not familiar with looking at installed updates
I am sure you have now realised that they are NOT under Microsoft windows updates but under the heading Office updates

Pleased to have assisted slightly- by asking you to check dates and KB
