I can understand that you don't want to install the current update.
Allegedly a corrected update will appear next week.Let's wait and see.

UUPDUMP generally always works -- however sometimes if an update is pulled the feature is still available on UUPDUMP for a while - but you probably will find it will fail.

For Windows 10 UUPDUMP is usually always a good resurce in case of updating problems.
