    An update is being prepared for your device, but it's not quite ready


    I left the pc after it needed to reboot after it installed
    I think this first update KB5000802,

    when I cam back all these were updated:
    KB4601554,
    SERVICING STACK 10.0.19041.860,
    KB4589212,
    UPDATE FOR REMOVAL OF ADOBE FLASH PLAYER

    Since then I have this message :"An update is being prepared for your device, but it's not quite ready"
    I ran the troubleshooter and rebooted but the problem persists.
    Any idea??

    you can try to run Windows update cleanup with cleanmgr.exe
