It looks like I will end using Windows 10 update. I have done this before with other versions of Windows. My motto is if M$ funks up my system, I stop using updates, and live happy.
Just letting you all know, expect the unexpected, or expected if you know M$.
Possibly a failing drive.
Chkdsk reported no issues with my drive
SFC reported nothing wrong with my system
DSIM reported nothing wrong with my system
No BSODs and everything functions fine, Just the March preview and cumulative update as of late fail to install.
From what I gather, both updates are for Intel new architecture, not legacy systems
I will do an inline update to flush out what updates were done that effects WUS, then remove WIndows components before updating again. I am so surprised at M$ forcefully placing a bunch of personal user apps within Enterprise. I guess I will be forced into installing Windows Server to combat having to strip Windows 10 in an enterprise environment.
