Ok, the title is a bit misleading. It actually broke my desktop and personalization settings.

So I got to install a feature update on my laptop and I honestly thought it was gonna be 2004. But then I checked winver and I realized it was 20H2 (which is a pretty new build). My pink color scheme became the default blue, the wallpaper turned black and some of my icons got their placements messed up. I dunno what happened there.

I don't wanna roll back because there wasn't any BSODs or anything like that.

I could just fix those myself, but I didn't do a lot of using the laptop to see if anything weird popped up.

My laptop is an Acer and I don't know if I'm the only one to have this problem.

If you did an In-Place Upgrade... that would definitely break your personalizations.
Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade

I've never done a Feature Update itself, that went from one build to another, 2 builds away, so I can't respond to that.

I did an In-Place Upgrade from 1909 to 2004, and that DID change my personalizations to Windows defaults... but since then, nothing has changed them.
