    That is the Problem:
    KB4601382 keeps giving me 0x80070003-screenshot-2021-03-07-192424.png

Let's try the following to fix the error:

Download SFCFix.exe and save this to your Desktop.
Download the file below, Fix removed because user related, and save this to your Desktop too.
Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
Save any open documents and close all open windows.
On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it.

SFCFix will now process the script.
Upon completion, a file should be created on your Desktop: SFCFix.txt.
    Then upload the SFCFix.txt.

I didn't do the upgrade failure batch. Should I?

    Finally, got it right FINALLY!
Wow, this was driving me nuts... OMG I have been building, configuring, installing and optimizing PCs for more than 15 years and this is easily the longest most annoying Windows error I've ever faced.

How this happened and what kind of driver was missing?

If possible, use English as the default language so file can be scanned:

I have no idea why this error occurs on some computers.

Possibly an error during the installation of Windows.

    Same problem

    Hello!

I'm having a similar driver problem after reset, tried to download that fix .zip file but the transfer has expired.
Can you help me with this if I send my log files?

    Thanks in advance.

    @theboogieman327

Copy and paste the CBS folder on your Desktop from the following Path:

    C:\Windows\logs

When done copy the setupapi.dev.log from the following path:

    C:\Windows\INF

on your Desktop too and then zip the CBS Folder and the setupapi.dev.log and upload it on wetransfer.com and share the Link here.

    Friendly greetings

    Edit:
Another piece of info: This laptop of mine was very old (9 year old Samsung model np550p7c-t02tr), I just got some new ram installed and changed the fan on this thing and reset it using a bootable usb created from Microsoft's site. This laptop is being used as a media server(Netflix, YouTube etc) and is connected to a TV with HDMI. I was having some cutouts in audio and video signal so I searched for drivers on the internet for this specific model. It lead to me downloading Samsung Update from Microsoft store and downloading said drivers from there. Turns out they manage old laptop drivers using that program, you just type your model and it gives you links for drivers. I ended up installing everything from there and the audio issues are resolved but when I check the logs myself I think windows is trying to find a new version for a really old wireless network driver I've installed along with others.

It warned me about my model's drivers are being managed by windows update, but I went in and installed them anyway. I'm attaching some screenshots from the Windows app.KB4601382 keeps giving me 0x80070003-screenshot-2021-03-25-211157.pngKB4601382 keeps giving me 0x80070003-screenshot-2021-03-25-210946.pngKB4601382 keeps giving me 0x80070003-screenshot-2021-03-25-211123.png

Presumably this is the network driver causing the error:

Here is the resulting text file.

Should I run the updater again?

Also mind I ask how you came up with the zip file?

I'm having issues with CPU thermals after installing the optional drivers from the windows update in a desperate attempt to fix the updater, now the CPU is running like 70 while watching YouTube :/ I'm asking because I might do one more clean install and would like to solve similar issues myself.

I'm attaching the drivers I've installed just in case there's any way of removing them without a reset.
