Show or Hide Updates Tool - is it still available?

Hi. I had a problem which I fixed by uninstalling KB4601345. Naturally, I don't want that Update to install again so I googled myself to this page:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...3-19219ef19cc1
Clicking on the link to the tool leads to a 404 error. Is the Show or Hide Updates tool still available? Or is there another way to prevent a specific Update from being installed? Thank you. (Winver 1809 build 17763.316)

Hi, you could, for example, use Windows Update Manager - Wumgr- or Windows Update Minitool - WUMT- (free, Google) to scan for updates, then optionally hide them.

    Searching for wushowhide.diagcab
    - which you can't currently download from
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...9-118351398897

    gives
    Download wushowhide - MajorGeeks

    which works.

Excellent, thanks for that. Should've thought of googling the filename myself...
It's not the most user friendly of apps but it appears to be hiding my rogue KB which is all I want.

    Why not post Brink's link?
    https://www.tenforums.com/attachment...wushowhide.zip

    It is available on TenForums.

Because I looked at the tutorial, followed the link to the MS article, and found the 404 error from the link in that. Having done so, I then in a responsible manner, commented accordingly at the end of the tutorial.

You seem to assume I would have meticulously tested eveything in the tutorial.

It makes sense to assume the top member would have done so.
