Hi. I had a problem which I fixed by uninstalling KB4601345. Naturally, I don't want that Update to install again so I googled myself to this page:
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...3-19219ef19cc1
Clicking on the link to the tool leads to a 404 error. Is the Show or Hide Updates tool still available? Or is there another way to prevent a specific Update from being installed? Thank you. (Winver 1809 build 17763.316)
Here is a link for the Show or Hide update tool: Download Microsoft Show or Hide Updates Troubleshooter - MajorGeeks

Yeah, I know-- old thread, however...

If you just want to stop a bad driver from reinstalling, especially on an older machine, just go into system properties>hardware tab>Device Installation Settings button>and disable automatic updates from there.

There's a tutorial on disabling device drivers for a specific piece of hardware by hardware id. Much more focussed.

Also see options in Winaero's Tweaker (free, searchable).

updated version of the Show/Hide Updates tool from Microsoft (digitally signed with sha256 signatures instead of sha1 - silently posted either end of June 2021 or sometime in July 2021 after taking down the old version of the tool)
