    There were 2 corrupt [ failed ] files, one .cat, and one .mum, which were then successfully restored.

    For further information . . .

    > .CAT File Extension
    > .MUM File Extension

    This file was missing:
    Microsoft-OneCore-DirectX-Database-FOD-Package ~ 31bf3856ad364e35 ~ amd64 ~~ 10.0.19041.1.mum

    I copied the file from a Windows image in the SFCFix.
    And they copied them into the relevant folder with the help of the SFCFix program.
    I can't tell what caused the error as a file doesn't usually go away on its own.
    Now create a system backup and then repeat it regularly.
    The next time an error occurs, they fall back on one of the safe backups.
