    Kb5001028

    Hello,
This new KB5001028 Cum. Updt. ,(I read a little about it). I do not have any WiFi connection at home. Internet is connected via router connected to home telephone outlet. Network capability in the router is turned off since I do not have any network devices at home.
Do I have to install this update ?
    Answers will be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Motim

Unless an update aims to fix something MS made an utter mess of and it's something that matters to you, normally there's no absolute need to install an update.

Here's the News item - you're always welcome to read the thread on an update in the News section.

You can see it looks trivial, specific.

    From Windows Latest:

To get the emergency patch, Microsoft says you need to click on ‘Check for updates’ button and you’ll receive the update if your device is affected.
Thankfully, this problem is exclusive to a “small number of devices” and WPA3 environments only, which means most users are unaffected. In addition to consumers, affected business customers also must install the latest out-of-band update via the Microsoft Update Catalog or Windows Update.
