where are the advanced update settings

It seems the user settings are here HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsUpdate\UX\Settings
...but I can't find the entry for other Microsoft products

A lot of us just use Option Seven, here...

After WAU Manager checks for updates, it lists them and gives you check boxes to select only the updates you want to install.

So, with the Advanced Update GUI settings, 'Receive updates from other MS products set to OFF', the DWORD value of the key is at 0.








And as everyone might expect, with the Advanced Update GUI settings, 'Receive updates from other MS products set to ON', the DWORD value of the key is at 1.








PS; These observations were made while using winver 2004.
