cannot update 20H2 build 19042.662 for last 2 months

Nov 15 was my last successful update for 20h2 build 19042.662
All the major updates since then fail but kindly rollback without locking up my system.

Anyone else seeing this, still waiting for viable updates to 20H2 19042.662

Just to verify, did you also try manually downloading the MSU file for the latest below and installing it?

KB4598291 CU Windows 10 v2004 build 19041.789 and v20H2 19042.789

Can you upload the Windows Update logs from the following path?
C:\Windows\logs\CBS

Copy and paste the CBS folder on your desktop, zip it and then upload it on wetransfer.com and share the link here please.

If you have concerns about the website, you can also use Google Drive or OneDrive to share the files.
And you don't have to worry about the log files, they don't contain any personal data.

Unfortunately i can't fix the problem with a small fix.

The best and quickest fix the problem is a In-Place Upgrade.

Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade | Tutorials (tenforums.com)

You should be able to keep all apps and data, but I generally recommend making a backup of all important data beforehand.
