Was there a search bar update today?

Mine changed. It used to have four or five icons on the top. With one column showing my recent apps, and the other one with weather and an icon for news. This just changed today. Now it's showing me weather and multiple news stories on the left, and tons of my recent apps on the right.

Are you referring to your browser, this website, Windows 10?

Windows 10. My search bar on Windows 10 right next to the start menu. Sorry, it took me so long to reply.

I'm just wondering if Windows did it by itself, or if there was an update. But if there was an update, wouldn't we had gotten a notification about it?

Running Windows 10 Pro build 20H2 19042.789. I manually updated it last night and just noticed it. If you click on the Apps tab that is what was before, correct?

I too am on 19042.789, but I don't have any of that.
Long ago I disabled a LOT of things like Cortana, letting Search search the web, etc.

Mine just looks like this. All and Apps, both look the same...

I have cortana disabled also when I was setting it up. It was like yours before the update. I'll figure it out, or someone else will

Unless if it's one of those updates that get slowly rolled out to people.

I am thinking that this is probably one of those updates that get slowly rolled out to people.
