Was there a search bar update today?

I am thinking that this is probably one of those updates that get slowly rolled out to people.

What I'm saying is...that for my system, a lot of this stuff doesn't happen at all.
Sort of like the stuff at the top of the settings window. I don't have anything there.

For this situation, I can't be much help, because my system is so very different.

This is what mine looks like after they updated. When I set up mine I never had the news feed showing up. I didn't need it.

Yep! This is exactly what mine looks like. For some reason though, after I bring it up, it seems to be endlessly loading something. With three dots constantly moving on the top.

Hi folks,
My search bar is now the way it should be but yesterday after
KB4598291 CU Windows 10 v2004 build 19041.789 and v20H2 19042.789 ,
I've noticed that that bar was a bit changed: the "recent" part on the left /with view reliability history/ was empty even "search history on this device" in "settings-search" was on. Also the first three icons are strange. Seemed like reseting itself but definately was something going on.

My search bar was the same as it was last night. So it still looks exactly what the person that I replied to has posted.

That update you provided was installed on my machine Feb. 2. it didn't change till the latest update.

UPDATE: Now it is back to what it was before

The only thing I noticed was in the OPTION section next to FEEDBACK. It didn't say "powered by bing" under the build number in the option (3 dots upper right corner). It was blank. Now, it is back to showing the figure/message symbol.
