I read the whole thing. I understood nothing. I got a headache. It's 1:38 now in Manhattan. I'll sleep this over and do it again tomorrow. Thanks everybody for your time and efforts. Goodnight.

Hey Matthew, how did you get Run anyway option in your blue pop out?
I just clicked on "More info".

By the way, did you install this particular update that I cannot install?

And yes... I installed it, and I assume Matthew did as well...
    No, I did not.

The hotfixes were installed on 9/27/2020 before Windows was clean installed on 12/18/2020.
The hotfixes were presumably in the Windows ISO file.

If you're on .746, then you got KB4598242

I'm thinking that KB4598242 must have been IN the clean install.

    Oh, ok, I got you.

When I did the In-Place Upgrade in June, it removed all the previous WU from the get-hotfix command for me as well.
I just show the ones from July onward.

Your KB4598242 is much larger than mine. But I was only coming from 19042.685
    Mine was only 401 MB

    That's weird. Yours can't be 102 GB.

    Derp... Gb :/

We did. When I installed KB45982442, it took me from 19042.685 to 19042.746

Twice a year, in May and October, we get what's called Feature Updates.
They are like Service Packs were in Windows 7, for example.
These change the number BEFORE the decimal point.
In May, the number went UP to 19041. In October it went UP to 19042.

Every month we get Windows Updates. (2nd Tuesday of the month)
They change the number AFTER the decimal point.
The December Windows Update took us up to .685, and the January Update took us to .746

    I actually installed Windows 10 on May 4th 2020. But I did an In-Place Upgrade on July 28th 2020

I installed Brink's link but it did not solve my problem installing KB4598242. Same error (errorcode:0x8007000d). I am waiting for Matthew to install it.

I did system restore to 4 days ago and 4 updates were re-installed automatically but still, KB4598242 was not installed, same error. Maybe there is something wrong with this update?

Hey Matthew, did you install yet?
