I read the whole thing. I understood nothing. I got a headache. It's 1:38 now in Manhattan. I'll sleep this over and do it again tomorrow. Thanks everybody for your time and efforts. Goodnight.

We did. When I installed KB45982442, it took me from 19042.685 to 19042.746
Twice a year, in May and October, we get what's called Feature Updates.
They are like Service Packs were in Windows 7, for example.
These change the number BEFORE the decimal point.
In May, the number went UP to 19041. In October it went UP to 19042.
Every month we get Windows Updates. (2nd Tuesday of the month)
They change the number AFTER the decimal point.
The December Windows Update took us up to .685, and the January Update took us to .746
I actually installed Windows 10 on May 4th 2020. But I did an In-Place Upgrade on July 28th 2020
I installed Brink's link but it did not solve my problem installing KB4598242. Same error (errorcode:0x8007000d). I am waiting for Matthew to install it.
I did system restore to 4 days ago and 4 updates were re-installed automatically but still, KB4598242 was not installed, same error. Maybe there is something wrong with this update?
Hey Matthew, did you install yet?
