Select keys not working after running WuMgr v1.1

The issue show up after running update manager v1.1b and by default "hide update page" option is enabled in the application, so it hides the page in windows 10 pro settings. Now after removing the tick mark in the box got back windows update page in settings but selected keys as o, l, 0, 9 are not working and entries in regedit for 'update manager for windows' still exit. The issue is related to update manager as after unselecting hide update page option and reboot the key works for seconds time, soon after key press stops from working.

It is rather hard to know to which "update manager" you refer to, as you do not provide any link or details, except WuMgr v1.1 in the title, but then you add a b in your post
    update manager v1.1b
    Presuming it is this one
GitHub - DavidXanatos/wumgr: Windows update managemetn tool for windows 10
    or as here
    Download WuMgr - MajorGeeks

as you can see the latest version is 11 December 2019 and I would not recommend such software on your main computer
It is OK on a test machine but this software as you can see is very much in development stage.
Xanasoft | Exciting open source software

I wonder why you are still using 1903
As of December 8, 2020, all editions of Windows 10, version 1903 and Windows Server, version 1903 have reached end of service. Devices running these editions will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates containing protections from the latest security threats. We recommend that you update these devices to the latest version of Windows 10 immediately.

My strong advise is to uninstall the software and also to update to a later version of 10

See this IF you are INSISTENT on trying to manage updates
Enable or Disable Windows Update Automatic Updates in Windows 10

my own personal opinion is that we are stuck with Microsoft policy, apart from the allowed minor changes in settings, if you wish to avoid problems.

On that tutorial you will see under option one and option seven other offerings for for software similar to the one you are trying.

However I repeat please do upgrade from 1903.

Also am I not right in thinking that you had a problem withy keys not working even before the install of the update manager
After installing KB4562900 updates select keys not functioning

It is majorgeeks update manager WuMgr 1.1 and run it as want to prevent window updates from installing updates automatically. But now got this issue.

As updates create added issues did not prefer it but if any specific update/upgrade to newer version solves this issue then would consider it.

Besides the tool in option 7 of
Enable or Disable Windows Update Automatic Updates in Windows 10
as mentioned above, you have Win 10 Pro.

Therefore you can use Group Policy to set updates to 'Notify'.

That means no update is applied until you approve it, having been notified of its availability.

However as you have 1903, you should not be receiving any more routine updates until you upgrade, and that upgrade may be applied automatically as 1903 is no longer supported, unless you have taken specific action.

Note there are differences from 20H2: feature updates are optional until end of service life for the build, and driver updates are also optional.

Be aware that MS made significant changes to Windows search and separately to Cortana after 1903.

It is majorgeeks update manager WuMgr 1.1
I thought it would be - I attached the link to that and to the authors site.
However as I said - you had the same problems, did you not before you installed that software - on your thread I linked to, so if I am correct the installation of the update manager has not caused the problem with the keys.
It already existed - I thought

    " selected keys as o, l, 0, 9 are not working "

That is most likely due to heat damage to keyboard contacts in that area which is probably just over the CPU.
I had to replace my Laptop keyboard for that reason, showed up within 4 years.

After deselecting 'auto update' and then removing WuMgr the keys were working for the session but after shutdown and reboot next day again the keys stopped working. So think the entries in regedit for 'update manager for windows' that still exit is causing the issue 1. How to remove WnMgr from registry and 2. Do upgrade to higher version confirm solves the issue?

I am struggling to see the relationship between the update manager and the keys
As I said before you had the key problem on your previous thread - when the update manager was not installed
Does the on screen keyboard work OK and if it is a laptop does an external keyboard work OK

Fine that was an issue with a select update from windows and was able to find a solution from microsoft support. The same issue is showing up with this update manager too and it hides the windows update page in setting if open run update manager and remove the application without unchecking the auto update check box in the application. Have to remove the registry entries and then update windows with a newer version.
