    20H2 upgrade to 2 computers

    Windows 10 pro version 10.0.18363

I did my main desktop last night, took a long time to download over my rural ISP & wreaked havoc with my netflix etc, but eventually finished.

Now I'm about to do my laptop and was just wondering, if it was possible to copy the download over from my desktop rather than slow down my internet for a couple of hours again.

In hindsight I realize I should have downloaded the upgrade iso, but thought I'd ask anyway.

My laptop is the build mentioned at the start of the post, and I did not check to see if my desktop was the same build, so I am thinking I should just bite the bullet and do the download/upgrade on the laptop - but again, just thought I'd check here first

    Thanks in advance.

Supposedly, if you open Windows Update from Settings. Then click on Advanced Options, then Click on Delivery Optimization, there is a switch to download updates from other computers on your own network. I've never actually seen it work, though.

Thanks for the reply - I found that setting - and it's enabled on both PC and laptop, stats say that my laptop has uploaded 806MB to other PC's on my network (there's only 2 PC's, but one is still on 7) and downloaded 0MB, and my desktop says it's downloaded 404MB from other PC's (laptop) and uploaded 0.

And my desktop is the one with the 20H2 update. Guess I'll just set the laptop to do it's 20H2 update & then look at the stats again.
