Finding list of suggested Win improvements

    Win 10 Home Ver 2004 Build 19041.685

I successfully installed the December updates on 9 December. Today, for an unrelated reason, I happened to log out. When I logged back in I had to go through a few screens suggesting various improvements to Windows settings. Unfortunately, as I was pressed for time I did not read them and just pressed the button for remaining with my current settings.

Having more time later on I tried logging out again and then logging back in. You obviously only get one bite at the cherry as I went straight to the desktop in the normal fashion. I'm guessing that the screens had something to do with the December updates. Does anyone know of a way of accessing these screens so that I can see the suggested changes?

You might want to see the check boxes on... Settings > Notifications & actions

I believe one or both of these, is what you are looking for...

Should you wish to disable them in the future... you will be able to do it in the same place.

Thanks for the replies, but I think I may be out of luck here. As suggested I looked in Notifications and actions, but the 2 boxes you highlighted are already ticked, so it looks like that is why I got the message and that it’s a once-only occurrence.
The puzzle is why it only appeared after logging off then on again but not after rebooting the PC after downloading the updates or after logging in on subsequent days.

Fortunately it’s annoying rather than serious, plus I may have missed out on some useful information. I did try a bit of googling on “Windows December updates”, but didn’t get anywhere.

No. I don't know the frequency, but it's not just once.
It doesn't come up all the time, but it will return.

There's been too many topics on Ten Forums about this. People "thought" it was a one time thing, but found out it wasn't.

You can also check mark the top box to see notifications on the lock screen (login screen), as well.

I'd also have to say, that there's no need to worry that you missed anything... useful.
We wouldn't have three tutorials about turning it OFF, if it had useful information, OR if it was a one time thing.

While waiting for it to appear again, you might want to check out the tutorials section of Ten Forums.
There's tons of useful information there.

There's also this... which has tons of things for and about Windows 10...
