Is this true for all Patch Tuesday updates or any updates?

That they won't install until I click on install now? I'm on 2004 Home right now. And I don't really have much time to download them. And if I don't click on install now today, when will they automatically install by themselves?

The theory is that feature updates (upgrades) will not automatically install but be offered to you for optional installation. That applies until near or around end of service life for your current build.

    Some updates are optional.

    You can pause updates:
Pause Updates or Resume Updates for Windows Update in Windows 10

If you wish to take total control of updates and upgrades, use one of the various free utilities often described here.
    Example: Option 7
Enable or Disable Windows Update Automatic Updates in Windows 10

Remember to set Active Hours to avoid being disturbed by an unexpected restart.
Turn On or Off Windows Update Restart Notifications in Windows 10

Downloading updates should not take you time- it's meant to be automatic. Only if you take manual control should downloading become a visible issue, unless something goes wrong.

As you can adjust bandwidth allocated to Windows Updates, unless you are on a restricted connection, that should not cause a problem either.

So, when I get today's updates they will download automatically but will wait for me to click to install them, right? And if that's true, do I have to install them today or can I wait until tomorrow?
