I still cannot get the 1909 to 2004 update

    Ghot, My Dell and two old eMacnine desktops updates okay without any apparent problems. Her Dell has problems that she probably caused and she is almost clueless about PCs. It is just not worth the trouble to fix her PC because at the rate Dell PC's get trashed she'll have a new one anyway. I can't even get a BIOS update to work so something strange is going on. Safe Mode scans reveals nothing unusual. That is about all I can do now days; M$ changes stuff too fast for me. I think it is their incomitance more so than mine.

    I just seriously liked and laughed when you said: "Some day when she's not looking..."

    My ex was kind of like that. I remember we had a huge argument one day when I said I was gonna fix the leaky $10 coffee maker.
    I did the same thing... I waited till she wasn't home, then fixed it.
