    Unless you check the SSD, how are you going to know if the retail product key is there or not? There is a chance it might be. And Microsoft has provided a method to copy the digital license from the old computer to a new computer via the Microsoft Account.

    I will tell my son to try and retrieve it today if possible.He finally got an old computer that was in the closet up and running. But it looks like all the key finders product a generic key from my testing them.
    Yes I did read that it may be possible to get the digital license from using your MS account. Gonna do more reading on that today.
