    See the release notes for 20H2 - that is specifically one of the changes in behavior for 20H2.

    I thought you said
    I have the system configured to NOT update automatically and 'Notify' me when updates are available
    so now you say
    Not sure what this means. It is my understanding that new machines with W10, after setup, are, by default, configured to have automatic update enabled. And I have not nor do I know how to disable this feature.
    I am a little confused - I thought you originally meant you have it set NOT to update automatically.

    My bad ... that was on my W7 machine, sorry - infant Ten user here (still trying to wean myself away from the seven-mentality - give me time pleeeeez)

    May I ask if you refer to the long list of optional driver updates or if you refer to the general changes such as I mentioned in 20H2
