Install of 2004 update freezes. Would love some help please.

older versions of Malwarebytes before v4.2.x had serious problems with the Win10 v2004 release:

upgrade Malwarebytes if using an outdated version - took them about a few months for Malwarebytes to fix the 2004 problems on their end

It was updated but I deleted it anyway. Thanks for the suggestion though.

You are amazing. Thank you so much for your help.

I managed to delete the last parts of Eset but my boyfriend was not keen on my updating the bios so I tried the reset save files. No luck. So I told him sleep on the sofa or let me try updating the bios. Bios updates and windows finally let me update.
