SELF SOLVED: Windows update page stuck searching

    Hey gang,

SOLVED: So I just updated to Windows 10 20H2. After the restart. I went to check for any updates it just says Please wait... and seems stuck. I rebooted 3 times. and still doing it. And on top of that I hit the pause updates. Is there a way to fix it without formatting? NVM, I fixed it.

Not exactly as simple as I thought it would be - but you found it while I was hunting for the answer which isn't in the FAQ

I restarted my PC. And after a half hour. It stopped.

Thanks, happened to me too, and I was happy to find the post and then sad you didn't post what resolved it.

    Thanks for the followup!

Nope, I'm all fixed too after giving it quite some time to cycle through.
