I suggest that you do not waste your time investigating those unsubstantiated allegations about VBScripts. He's always banging on about this yet refusing to post the source of his beliefs. He also became extremely offensive when one member asked for his sources.
I will tell you what I told the "one member"...do your own homework.

Your statement clearly indicates you have no clue what you're talking about...since even a cursory search would explain it for you.

Two search arguments were given in post #6 for the OP.

You might start there as well.

@OldNavyGuyRe: your comment about Sledgehammer and .vbs scripts, I'm researching your recommendations on Windows Automatic Updates Manager and WuMT. I've also used WuMgr which I like better; does it have any script issues I should be aware of?
WuMgr is written in the C# (pronounced "C Sharp") programming language.

I think you are refusing to answer the question because you actually know full well that what you are saying is rubbish, that you know full well that there are no sources for your false claims.
    - You falsely stated that VBS & WSH were disabled by default in Windows 10
    - You falsely stated that nobody should use VBS because using it was a security risk
It is not possible to provide supporting information for either of these statements because they are both fabrications.
It is not possible to search for supporting information for either of these statements because they are both fabrications.

And what you told that other member was that, for the sin of questioning you about your sources, he must either be mentally ill or be a malicious troll.

All that has ever been needed is for you to state the sources for your beliefs so that the situation can be discussed rationally and misunderstandings can be resolved.

If you are not sure about the contents then you could always post the script in text form in the site where you got it and ask if it has been corrupted or if it is as they intended it to be.
The core VBScript code used in my tutorial is extracted from Microsoft Docs, which I believe is reliable.

Assuming the "one member" refers to me, I was not offended because I am used to being the target of personal attacks.

    Adorable rant...but totally irrelevant.

    A couple of corrections -

VBScript was disabled by default for IE 11, not Windows 10.

As I recall, emotional issues (rather than mentally ill), and trolling (rather than malicious troll), was used in the response to being trolled, rather than being asked for information.

A so-called "guru" shouldn't need their hand held to find information.

    Google is your friend.

See post #6 and start searching.

As mentioned above, Google search for vbscript security issues and vbscript malware.

    You'll find more.

The problem I have with it is, it uses .vbs scripts, which requires that Windows Scripting Host is enabled on your system.
    It's a security risk....
Should we stop using slmgr too?
