20H2 Offered, But Will Not Download?

I am running 2004 Pro and Home on two older Dells, which I use as backup PCs with no problems. Today, I checked for the 20H2 offer, and it was there on both. I hit download and install, but Windows went back to checking for updates and telling me I am up to date. I did this several times, and once I got an error code and a message stating unable to d/l. Another time, I got a red error message flash by. Going to hold off on my main PC for a while.. Wonder what is going on?

Thanks... I was thinking it was on MS's side, too. It's strange it offers the upgrade and then goes back to checking for updates. Even turned off my AV, no luck. Again, both PCs are running 2004 fine.

It was at launch on the 20th, at least for 'Seekers'. That's how I upgraded this machine - checked for updates and it was there. The Update History only records updates performed by Windows Update. An in-place upgrade or manually installing the enablement package won't show here.

Finally, I was able to download and install 20H2 on the Dell PC running Win10 2004 Home, but my 2 other PCs running 2004 PRO will not permit the d/l. WU will find the 20H2 update, but when I try to download, WU will just go back to searching for updates and finish by saying it is up to date. Sometimes, I can catch an error message flash by - 0X80246017. One Pro PC is old, the other was purchased just this year. I can't find much regarding this error code... Should I try to implement the media creation tool?

If you have 2004, 20H2 is a much smaller download- around 80Mb.

From the tutorial I posted, here's the tutorial with the links for the enablement package:

KB4562830 Enablement Package Feature Update to Windows 10 version 20H2

The 3rd party tool at Option 7 here is another way to scan for and select updates:

OK, finally got all three PCs upgraded 202H. As I said, WU would identify that 202H was ready, but when I would click d/l WU would go back to search and state "up to date". By trial and error, brute force, I found that by not hitting d/l update immediately, but by letting the screen sit for a while, there was a 50 50 chance WU would snag whatever it needed and start to download 202H. d/ls and install went smoothly for the 620 (8 yrs) Pro; 3847 (6 yrs) Home; and 3641 (11 mos.) Pro. FYI and I hope this helps somebody. Thanks to all who replied.
