I opened a ticket with ASRock inquiring if they have an issue with Microsoft's compatibility telemetry. The mobo is still under warranty. I wonder if they'll take the time to respond or offer some insight or help even though this isn't a warranty issue.

Have you run the Windows Update troubleshooter? Your AsRock board is so new and common that it can't possibly be the issue. If that doesn't work, then try a "repair install" whether the MCT or Upgrade Assistant gives you the newest build or not. The issue must be with your Windows install or some exotic software installed.

I admit I've never had or have had a system built that was anything less than exotic.

My Windows install is just fine and nothing otherwise exotically softwarish. Because...

    20H2!!

Upgraded from 1909 directly to 20H2. Better late than never, I suppose.

My three Win10 systems and I now eagerly await participation in the glorious 21H1 Windows Update Lottery, Hurry Up & Wait® Edition.

I'll mark this as solved. Well, "solved" actually. Not much solving goin' on in this one.
