    Windows Update issues

Hi all, I am having issues when trying to update my Windows 10 system.
I run FRST, also I am attaching logs, so you can see what is causing the issue.

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards.

Hi, there's a huge amount of basic information missing to even begin.

    a. The forum prompted you (so we don't have to keep asking- but still have to) to give your full Windows build number e.g. 19014.508
    b. What is your PC model - and if custom-built- the MOBO?
    c. About how old is it?
    d. The URL for its driver page
    e. What upgrade or update are you attempting? To what build?
    f. How are you doing this?
    - by Windows Update?
    - by downloading an iso file?
    - some other way?
    g. a screenshot and text of the exact error message

    Post a screenshot thus:
    Windows Update issues-screenshot-.png

If you are attempting to upgrade from one build to another, then post
    setuperr.log
    setupact.log

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...sion-of-window
    and run
setupdiag.exe (Google that- from MS) and post the result.

    Basics:
Post a screenshot of your disks/partitions using a 3rd party partition manager such as Minitool Partition Wizard
Run the Windows Update Troublshooter and post a screenshot of the result.

Check your disk: download, install and run
    Crystal Diskinfo
    If ok, run
    chkdsk c: /scan
from an admin command or Powershell prompt
    If ok, similarly run
    SFC /SCANNOW

and post the summary result (pass/fail).

If you are experiencing a failure to upgrade, bear in mind it is next to impossible to diagnose such failures- some threads run to over 100 posts without useful outcome.

Kindly bear in mind the working language is English, so please provide a translation where appropriate. Thanks.

Thanks. (More to come, please- in particular the Windows Update Troubleshooter)

    Translation (which was requested):
There were some problems in installing the updates, but we will try again later. If you keep seeing this message and want to search the web or get in touch with technical support to obtain more information, it's possible this code will help:
    0x80071a91

    This is the update:
    KB4577063 Cumulative Update Windows 10 v2004 build 19041.546 - Oct. 1
    - no report of that error number in the thread.

Is WindowsUpdate.log useful for you to detect my errors?

If so, I am attaching it. (I am uploading it to mediafire as its size is 2.09 MB.

...the one bottom right (or you can find it via the Control Panel)
    Windows Update issues-1.png

The log shows failures apparently related to
    C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution

    (Setupdiag.exe reported nothing found)

    You could try
Reset Windows Update in Windows 10

I'm still having issues with WU.
Can you give me the fixlist.txt for FRST to fix errors, please?

    Repeat of above:

Check your disk: download, install and run Crystal Diskinfo
    If ok, run
    chkdsk c: /scan
from an admin command or Powershell prompt
    If ok, similarly run
    SFC /SCANNOW
and post the summary result (pass/fail).

    a. run Windows Update Troubleshooter
    post result

    b. Perform the Reset as above.

    c. Try the update.

    d. If still failing see
    See this which might help:
    Fix Windows Update Error 0x80071a91

    - from my post #6

    e. If still problems, try Tweaking.com's free repair tool, selecting only the Windows Update repair.

    f. If still failing, perform an in-place upgrade repair install which keeps all progs and data (you'll need a 2004 iso file).
    Tutorial available.
