I took an extra drive I have today, and disconnected all my drives from my system and did a fresh clean 20H2 install on it and it blue screened constantly on last reboot during setup with the same page fault error as originally.

I still need to read thru that IME stuff a bit more, not sure on it...

It was clear to me that a clean reinstallation would end in a blue screen because RWOne wrote the same thing.

Have you tried installing the driver package from the link?

Yes I thought it would too, but wanted it to check to be sure.

I've not tried installing the driver package yet, I will do that tonight.

Is this a BIOS update file? I don't want to mess with this as reading through that thread a few people have bricked their Z97 boards. It seems 11.7.0.1057 may be the newest that works with the Z97 platform.

In Section D there are only the links to the driver and software packages. The links to the firmware packages can be found below.

By myself I would keep my hands off the firmware packages.

Ok, sorry I must have misread what was what there.
So the drivers are just the IME ones, not the bios firmware ones.

Why would 15.xxx of the drivers work but 12.xxx is not compatible?

Sorry, just see that the leading platform correct drivers are in section D because you have ME9 and not ME11 and the driver is V11. **.

It won't let me install it anyways, I try via Device Manager and it says the 'best driver is already installed'.

Ok, I'll try one of those after dinner, thanks :)
    Is the 11.7.0.1069 for Win10pro 64bit or just the 11.7.0.1057 ?

    Do you have any news?
