Windows update bug Win 10 2004?

When I manually click the check for updates button it searches and then appears to very briefly (1 second) attempt to download something and returns to the you're up to date green check mark. Can anyone reproduce this? I have taken a desktop capture from my machine which demonstrates the defect:

    Hi,
I don't see that it tries to download something. It is doing regular check for updates and reports that computer is up to date.

It's a GUI flaw. Its a feature I don't see anything abnormal by the way.

But you do see the GUI flaw? How do you know it is a flaw? Are you on Win 10 2004?

I don`t see anything wrong, unless I`m blind.

It happens super fast Brian, you have to look really closely...

I can’t see anything out of the ordinary. It may be that you’re moving the mouse over the ‘pause updates’ section which is making it appear to jump.

Try going to the video link and slowing the video down to 0.5. I know it happens really fast, blink and you will miss it but there is definitely a GUI anomaly there... Thanks @Faith - I should have named the video Windows Update GUI bug.

Edit: It happens right as it transitions back to the check for updates button and your up to date. It's not a smooth transition.

I didn't see the same problem but had one computer get offered the Version 2004 Upgrade and it failed twice then never offered again. Ended up using the USB created by the MCT process and did the Upgrade with no issues.

Here I have cropped and slowed it down a lot so you can see exactly what is displayed. Nothing is downloading, it transitions directly from 'Checking...' to 'You're up to date'. But some of the text is briefly overlapping.
