    Exactly. @Kol12 I ment it's probably a GUI flaw - which there are some of throughout Windows 10 -, but I don't see anything downloading. The 'feature' part was a joke. I'm not on 2004 yet, but I doubt this is exclusive to 2004, but simply a quirk with the settings menu for what ever reason.

    @Kol12

    There is nothing wrong with your Windows update because you are up to date.

    If you want to verify this, please pause Windows updates for a few days or a week, and then check for updates,
    you should be able to see at least Windows Defender updates being downloaded.

    EDIT:

    I use Windows 10 v2004 and have exact same behavior.
    I would make a video for you to show you if you don't believe me, but I'm not in the mood and OBS is not installed.

    Settings....Troubleshoot Updates

    Hi, try Trouble shooting "Updates" via settings search and see if it finds something to repair.

    Here I have cropped and slowed it down a lot so you can see exactly what is displayed. Nothing is downloading, it transitions directly from 'Checking...' to 'You're up to date'. But some of the text is briefly overlapping.

    Great job. So now we conclude it is a visual bug. Chances of MS picking this up?

    Thanks for confirming you also see the visual bug. I wonder if the good eyes at MS will catch this?

    Didn't find anything but I will run a file system check as well.
