Also note the need to match language with the default when performing an in-place upgrade repair install... so if using UK language packs on a US base, make sure you pick the correct one (US), else you'll get a somewhat confusing message during the repair install.

To find out which language your device came installed with, open Start screen or menu, type "powershell" and launch Windows PowerShell. In the dark blue window, type [CultureInfo]::InstalledUICulture and press Enter key.

Please note that downloading Windows setup in a wrong language does not allow non-destructive reinstallation, the option will be grayed out.
