MS Updates Catalog Not Updating ?

Hello,Once a day I visit the "MS Update Catalog" if there is / are new updates for my system. (Auto update is turned off).I enter in the search box 1903 x64 which is my system. For almost two weeks there were no new updates (even today 16-Jul).From your site, in the "News" Section, I learned there is a new update KB4565483 dated 13-Jul-2020. Is the catalog not updating each time there is a new update ? Answers will be appreciated.ThanksMotim

    Motim,

I found it by searching for Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1903
    https://www.catalog.update.microsoft...px?q=KB4565483

Daily checking seems excessive. The Cumulative updates that matter are on the 2nd Tuesday of each month so you could easily reduce your checks until then and pick up any others on the same day [.Net updates, for example].

I think what is confusing you is that 1903 and 1909 share a common set of system files and share the same cumulative updates. The title of the latest cumulative update KB4565483 is shown in the Catalog as '2020-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1909 for x64-based Systems (KB4565483)' with no mention of 1903.

But if you read the release notes you'll see that it is actually for both 1909 and 1903.

Applies to: Windows 10 version 1903 all editions, Windows Server version 1903, Windows 10 version 1909 all editions, Windows Server version 1909
    KB4565483 CU Win 10 v1903 build 18362.959 and v1909 build 18363.959

    Hello,
    Thanks for the answer.
I wonder about Bree's attached screenshot. I tried to enter 1909 x64 in the search box and got nothing new.
Attached two screenshots of my search. One for 1903 and one for 1909.
    Thanks again

    Motim,

If you click on Last updated you'll sort them into order.

Yes, that's what I did for my screenshot. If you look carefully at it you'll see a down-arrow next to 'Last updated' to show that it has been sorted by date.
