PC Recovery, 'your PC needs to be repaired' after update

Thank heavens for little girls and Macrium Reflect.
Windows did it's usual back ground updates then asked if it should restart now or later, I updated it now. Restarted it then carried on working, an hour or so later the same request was seen, as I had a few programs open I chose Not Now, closed the programs and selected update and restart from the power link.
The PC started with a BSoD stating
Recovery. Your PC/Device needs to be repaired.
Code 0xo0000225, then a few options that I tried that led to more options 1-9 tried safe mode and with and without networking, no luck just the message File Error:windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe.
Nothing seemed to work. Eventually I tried Macrium Reflect (never thinking I would actually need it) and hit restore on this mornings incremental backup. After about 8 minutes my PC rebooted and I am back in business.

However, not long after getting it back up again the same request appeared, that windows needs to install important updates and to restart now or later or not now, I chose not now as I didn't want to go through this again.
I took a snip of the update screen:

Is there a problem with the latest updates? or should it be okay to continue?

I haven’t heard of any problems.
I would update again as you have a Macrium backup & if the problem reoccurs block the update.
I sometimes have problems after updating which requires image recovery yet have no problems when it updates again.

Thanks for the reply. I shut my eyes, crossed my fingers and updated.
    All seems fine

Update also states the new 2004 version is ready to install, there appears to be many problems with it so I will leave it a while........ I think 3 months was recommended......

A good idea especially with all the bugs with 2004.
Supposedly if the update is offered then it should be OK but I have my doubts.
