Oh you poor baby! That is just awful!
Maybe you are not doing enough overclocking, registry hacks, third party programs, or bizarre Windows Settings combinations.
Maybe you are checking your system files, cleaning your caches, and defragmenting too much.
Maybe you are not running enough programs in the background. Or running enough apps while updates are happening.
Maybe you are shutting down or restarting from time to time.
You just need to work harder at it!
I agree - those do sound like my symptoms - except for defragging. I have SSDs.

Updates for 2004 likely better than present condition
Hi, used to post from time to time on the 7 forums when things would go awry. Have had this Dell since January and in the last few days I can't get folders pinned to the taskbar to open, and the machine won't stay in sleep/hibernation, and I notice a whole heap of Microsoft WinRT Storage API and Windows Shell Common Dll updates from the 15th. I found these with a freeware program - don't know if you want endorsements here - no doubt there's a system utility that finds things like that too. Anyway, probably I should roll these updates back and see what happens; thought I'd just chime in with my problems too.
