Run the Avast uninstall tool:

All done - clean boot, everything unplugged apart from screen, mouse and keyboard. I even disconnected an internal USB card.

Good call. I took off the controller and cleaned all the contacts.

They were indeed corroded.

Sadly, none of this has helped.

I've run the update again and it gets to 37% on the 'Installing Windows 10' screen, fails and I'm back to my Desktop.

V2 logs attached.

Report.ver is of particular interest it seems.

Memory modules listed below are for reference only. Due to massive memory models on the market, we can only verify some of them.

Please have a look at each HD Tune, HD Sentinel, and Crystal Disk.
They seem consistent.
