A Google of "Win 10 problems" will demonstrate that there are many others who have the same problem as me. So in what way does your last few posts contribute to solving that problem? Saying "I installed it and it was a breeze" is not an analysis of the problem.

    Hi,
Nope but I really didn't say that either
What I'm saying is mount the iso without internet connection maybe it will finish or maybe it will fail as it has always done what's there to loose it's actually alot faster too as I've just showed 10-12 minutes but that's at 5.0 ghz too with 10 cores

A rainy day so time to spare and tried again to install 2004. All attempts fail and all repair options documented on Google tried... same as this poster... Windows Update 2004 - Error 0xe06d7363
    The failure mechanism is consistent.
    Update completes the Install phase.
At Restart the "Preparing update..." message maxes out at 57% and on boot-up rollback takes place.
Failure code is... 0x80242016 WU_E_UH_POSTREBOOTUNEXPECTEDSTATE The state of the update after its post-reboot operation has completed is unexpected.
Codes can be found here... https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...rror-reference

    Hi,
    Thank you
The two 250gb ssd's in your system spec's is why I asked
Are you dual booting and if so what is on the second 250 ssd ?

No dual booting, D is simply a clone of C for backup. Never caused any problems.

    Hi,
Any reason you've never disconnected at least the data cable off the clone ?
Being a clone they would have the exact same id's so maybe this 2004 build is getting confused and aborts ?

I've never disconnected it because I never considered that as a problem. That might be a last resort.
