I'm Definitely NOT Impressed. Windows 2004 will not install.

    Hi,
100+ apps ... issues could be any.
Disk space is usually the biggest killjoy since it needs to make a restore point of everything connected and space on C must be well more than enough.
From my OP... All attempts complete the installation phase then roll back at the Restart.

None that are active at any time. I run Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware occasionally to detect anything Defender might have missed.

    Hi,
    Good again
Can you go to uninstall a program through old style control panel and post a screen shot of all that is installed
This should also display all third party drivers installed which was one of your errors you listed.

Thanks. There's nothing there that gives me concern. At this point I should own up. I spent 40 years in IT before retiring, everything from Assembler programming to managing a world-wide roll-out. Last year I had a new, expensive rig custom built and installed Win10. It has for the past year been regularly updated with no problems, including the recent June updates overlayed on 1909. So I am biding my time waiting for MSoft to sort out their mess.

    Hi,
I mounted the 2004 iso without internet connection and it only took about 15 minutes to complete.

    Hi,
Just started the media creation tool to create an iso
See how long it takes to complete or fail.
